Why do I like flowers?!
However, I always noticed my mom had a soft spot for flowers. She would buy a bunch of silk roses from random shops, place them in a vase near our TV, and talk about them for weeks. She would say, "Look how beautiful it is. The leaves look so real. Can you see the fake droplet that adds beauty to the rose and makes it look fresh?" Slowly, this grew on me, and I eventually stumbled into opening my small business, the Flower Chapter, and discovered my love for flowers had taken root.
And yes, now we talk a lot about flowers. We talk about the texture of their petals, the pollen that holds yellows in the lilies, and try to understand why they are so pleasing to look at.
If I were God, I would probably think, "Why waste so much time creating something that looks fresh for just a few days? Why so much detail in one small flower? It will wilt anyway." He’s poured so much creativity into these fleeting beauties, and I can’t fathom why someone would do such intricate work.
The colors just blow my mind every time I arrange them into a bouquet; they definitely bring joy when held. But still, the question nags me—why all this effort? What’s the endgame? Toil? Diligence? Do these flowers really matter in the grand scheme of things?
As I mull it over, I begin to realize that His nature shines through the world around us. His beauty is written all over His creation. You can see a person’s true colors in the work they leave behind, and this God has left us with more beauty and grace than we can shake a stick at.
It’s too much beauty and grace.
It’s too much tranquility and brilliance.
It’s too much attention to detail and lavish display for us to wrap our brains around,
and so we are left with just one question: why?!

Nice write up it's really great to see the beauty in all things
