Why fight when you are already a victor?
We are called victorious, and we are victors in Christ! Then why fight?
So the fight was always to reach that place and how to get there and please that God, who is far above my ability to please, was driving my faith. Days rolled by, and as I listened to more truths about Trinity, I could comprehend that I was always fighting for the place, while in reality I should just understand I’m already seated there in the place, and the real war is me awakening to this reality.
So why do we still struggle? And why do you find it hard to steward many areas of life?
I believe it’s only because we aren’t awakened to the place we are fighting from.
“Yahweh said to my Lord, the Messiah: “Sit with me as enthroned ruler while I subdue your every enemy. They will bow low before you as I make them a footstool for your feet.””
Psalms 110:1 TPT
If we believe that we are co-heirs with Jesus, we are seated along with him at the right side, and this is exactly where we should be seeing ourselves as we deal with our everyday situations. We are seated along and reigning with the trinity, as we awaken to this reality we fight differently.
“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Psalms 16:11 NKJV
I’m skeptical in this season, especially if I can bless people by telling a word of blessing over them and will that change something in people’s life. As I began to ponder on this doubt, I was reminded of this truth and this can be the only truth I have to stand on that I'm his daughter, and he is more than happy to be fulfilling what I speak; in fact, I’m called to do that, and I’m called to build Papa’s kingdom, and his kingdom is all about blessing people and lavish his children only with his goodness and faithfulness.
In the end, it is about us fighting against our own belief system more than we fight against the devil or his schemes. We are surely to fight and stand against all the challenges, but the place we are doing it from makes all the difference. Today I’m extending an invitation to you to awaken to this truth.
