Why do I like flowers?!
I've had people ask me this question but, I have never really contemplated on it, I think it’s a good time to start. I did not grow up with a home garden; most of my childhood was spent in apartments, and I never really had plants around. However, I always noticed my mom had a soft spot for flowers. She would buy a bunch of silk roses from random shops, place them in a vase near our TV, and talk about them for weeks. She would say, "Look how beautiful it is. The leaves look so real. Can you see the fake droplet that adds beauty to the rose and makes it look fresh?" Slowly, this grew on me, and I eventually stumbled into opening my small business, the Flower Chapter, and discovered my love for flowers had taken root. And yes, now we talk a lot about flowers. We talk about the texture of their petals, the pollen that holds yellows in the lilies, and try to understand why they are so pleasing to look at.
